Joseph Benz

Joe Benz is a Project Engineer at NAI Burns Scalo, where he has supported commercial construction projects for over a year. With a hands-on approach and strong attention to detail, Joe contributes across the full project lifecycle—from preconstruction and bidding through construction to final occupancy.

Joe plays a key role in subcontractor coordination, managing submittals, RFIs, and changeorders, and ensuring scopes of work are clearly aligned with project goals. He also supports bid qualification and scope review to help ensure competitive and accurate proposals. In addition, Joe assists with project scheduling and cost control, helping teams stay on track and within budget throughout the construction process.

He was a member of the project team that executed the award-winning Diamond Ridge project, which received the 2024 NAIOP Speculative Office Building of the Year award—highlighting his ability to contribute to high-performing, recognized developments.
