Billy Lane

Billy Lane started off in real estate in 2008.  Weathering a market crash and initially going into residential real estate, he quickly started to attract investors looking to build portfolios.  While he continued to expand his business on luxury sales in San Francisco, a new opportunity in new development sales fell in his lap.  Immediately he was taken by the development aspect of the business and began learning about mixed-use developments.  After moving to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in 2017 he met with a large land developer who offered him a position as the sales director of a mixed-use development in downtown Pittsburgh. 

After four years in Pittsburgh, Billy and family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.  It was at this time that Billy made a full switch from residential real estate to commercial real estate.  Billy focused his efforts on retail sales and eventually industrial sales.  In June 2025 Billy and family made their final move to Tampa Florida in pursuit of education, beaches and a more vibrant commercial real estate market.  Billy joined NAI Burns Scalo as he loved their culture of collaboration and hard work.  Brian Walker, the president of NAI Burns Scalo was a previous colleague to Billy in Pittsburgh, so there was a vision that Billy saw in the direction Brian Walker and Tim Rivers had for the Tampa office.
