NAI Burns Scalo Establishes Tampa Presence with Strategic Executive Hire
NAI Burns Scalo is excited to be entering the next phase of its growth mission with the opening of a new office in Tampa, Florida. To lead operations in the new market, the firm is pleased to announce the hiring of Tim Rivers as Executive Managing Director – Florida.
Tim brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and a proven track record of leadership across major markets in Florida. Most recently, he served as Florida Market Leader at Cresa, where he was responsible for expanding the firm’s presence throughout the state. Prior to that, Tim held senior roles including Florida Market Director at JLL, Senior Managing Director of Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield, and held key leadership positions at CBRE and Newmark.
Throughout his career, he has overseen business lines serving both occupier and investor clients, including tenant representation, agency leasing, property management, project development services, and capital markets. With a strong focus on strategic planning and integrated service delivery, Rivers has consistently driven results by aligning real estate solutions with client objectives.

As part of NAI Burns Scalo’s strategic growth initiative, the firm will build out a full platform office in Tampa, offering brokerage, property management, development and construction, and advisory services – including receivership and capital markets.
