Burns Scalo Awarded Three New Contracts to Provide Facilities Management Services

PITTSBURGH, PA – Burns Scalo Real Estate (BSRE), Pittsburgh’s only local, fully integrated real estate services firm, has been awarded facilities management services contracts by Penn Cove Group Capital for its Cool Springs complex, City Club Apartments for the former YWCA at 305 Wood Street, and 607 Uptown, LLC the owner of 607 Washington Road. The scope of work includes integrated facilities management services, cleaning services, and grounds maintenance.

Earlier this year, Burns Scalo Real Estate announced plans to accelerate the reach and support for its construction, brokerage advisory, and management services by extending them outside its portfolio. The Cool Springs and 607 Washington Road contracts are the first awarded to Burns Scalo Management. At the same time, its construction and brokerage advisory services have grown exponentially over the past eleven months.

The Cool Springs arrangement includes the seven-year-old, two-story, 160,000-square-foot complex, driving range and miniature golf course and the following tenants; Allegheny Health Network, Century United Soccer, Shoot 360, Kiddie Academy, Burn Bootcamp, Pittsburgh Dance.

At the former YWCA, Burns Scalo Management will maintain the seven-story, an 88,125-square-foot building currently home to tenants Point Park University and a Mandarin Gourmet Chinese restaurant. City Club is planning a significant renovation to the building in the Spring of 2023 as they will convert it into prime downtown Pittsburgh apartment living with a new retail component.

At 607 Washington Road, Burns Scalo Management will manage a four-story, 19,250 square-foot building, including Mt Lebanon Dermatology Associates, Fluhme Cosmetology, Penn Cove Group Capital, and DipJar located in the heart of Mt Lebanon’s business district.
