People are Going Everywhere But to the Office
Everywhere I go is crowded. Airports, restaurants, sporting events, etc.
No one I know is staying home with their door nailed shut. Let me ask why can’t people go to the office?
Is it because they don’t want to? Of course it is.
Statistics show that productivity is waning. People are drifting. The fabric of culture is disappearing. How long will employers and boards of directors allow this to happen?
Two types of employees are emerging: One type wants a career, and one type wants a paycheck. Guess which one wants to come to the office? With the stock market resetting, there is pressure on leadership to make changes. With Covid no longer front page news, employers are phasing employees’ return.
How fast will the pendulum swing back to the employer? I predict this time next year.
